Over the past few months I have been asked to make various bespoke products from personalized birthday hair bows, Christening hair bows, cushions and gnomes.
One of my favorite requests has to be a brides hair piece for herself and her little girl.
This bow was inspired from some drawings I had asked for by a local artist. My original idea was a ballerina image (below) for a bow I wanted to make for my daughter.
It was such an honor to be asked to design and make this piece for the soon to be bride.
The image to the left was hand drawn by a very talented artist who is local to our village. I then extracted it onto canvas fabric along with the pattern from her wedding shoes making me able to create something unique to her special day, and what a lovely keepsake to have to look back on or even pass down as something borrowed and blue.
